Acorn necklace

Acorn necklace, or how it all began:

The Acorn necklace was the first jewelry I ever made, and it is still my best seller, and the one piece I am most proud of. After restoring and rebuilding a natural spring in the Jerusalem Forest with my friends, I wanted to make a souvenir for all of us, to remember that amazing project.
The first acorns were collected around the area of that spring, and plated in silver to preserve them forever, and to turn them into beautiful and wearable nature jewelry.

After selling a few units, I noticed two things: first, the amazing accuracy of my plating technique, by which the smallest details were fully kept , and were even more visible due to the metal plating. The second thing I noticed was how much people liked it. You might see many acorn necklaces and nature inspired jewelry, but they all are imitations of the real thing, whereas that acorn necklace was the real thing itself, preserved in silver or gold, and the difference is highly visible. The small details give it an authentic, natural look, and make it truly unique jewelry. Those insights led me to a consideration of nature’s more complex shapes and textures, and this was the beginning for all of the different forms of jewelry you can see here :

After a few years of producing those necklaces, I was contacted by a U.S. costumer, who told me that for him and his girlfriend, acorns are a sign of their love, which I found beautiful. He also told me that they had a different kind of acorn near their house. We decided that he would send me their particular acorns, and, after I shipped them back preserved in gold and on a necklace, he used that acorn necklace for his marriage proposal- and she said Yes!

The Acorn necklace is available, in a few variations: the Gold Acorn necklace, the Silver Acorn necklace, both in small\medium\big acorns, and the statement jewelry piece of three acorns on a chandelier necklace.
